Old School

I have a Sony Cybershot camera...that I absolutely love. It has served me well for 3 years. However, and I am embarrassed to admit this- until this past Saturday I had NO CLUE how to upload photos from my camera directly to my computer! For the 3 years I've owned this thing, I assumed I absent-mindedly lost the camera cord to transfer my pictures. So for the past 3 years in order to share photos, I have gone to the trouble of creating a picture CD at Costco and then loading them on my computer.  So this past Saturday while at Costco, I asked an employee in the electronics department if he could help me locate a camera cord. I handed him my camera and he told me that I would need to buy a memory card reader for my camera, because Sony does not have this capability.  I ordered the card reader tonight and I am enthusiastically waiting for it to arrive so I can start to share pictures with everyone!

Innaugural Post

So I started this blog a few years ago...and did nothing with it, until last night when a friend of mine offered to help me out.  Not too shabby, huh? I know, I know, welcome to like, 7 years ago when blogging was big. Anyway, I am not sure how long I will keep this blog public, but I feel like it is okay to do so for now. Who knows, I might be able to post something one of my readers may find helpful or humorous. Or maybe no one except my mom will read it. Only time will tell.
So a little about us: the picture in the background is me and my husband Thomas. As indicated by the text across our photo, we've been married for almost 4 years. It doesn't feel that long at all. We were married in the La'ie Hawai'i LDS Temple. We are Mormon. If any of you want to know what we believe, feel free to go to our church's website lds.org or check out my profile on mormon.org.  We live in northern California.  I believe I am married to the most handsome, talented, hard-working, charitable, pure-hearted man in the world.
What else should I say in a first post? I think I'm done.
